£79,347 or £80,000
What's the best price to give to a client?
This is always a fun one and often creates debate. Not including the fact that £80,000 is worth more, which one would you be happier presenting to a client?
In my world, there's only one response - £80,000.
You can only get to a number like £79,347 from adding up the inputs and adding a margin. It tells the client that this is a proposal of time and materials, that it's the result of a behind-the-scenes calculation. You're inviting them to ask questions, dig into the number and pick it apart.
